 For over 12 years at the Dance Summit, and many years before that with Burn the Floor, it has been my greatest honor to hold the clipboard, the microphone, and the vision for dance in Hinton.
To the studio owners and teachers across Alberta who trusted us with your students year after year: thank you. You brought more than just choreography to our stage; you brought the heartbeat of your home studios to the Foothills. As the organizer, my goal was always to create a space where 'Your best is always enough.' I have watched tiny dancers take their very first competitive steps here, and I’ve seen seniors perform their final solos on our floor before heading into the professional world. This year will be our final event. We are closing this chapter with immense pride in the platform we built together. I invite you to join us for one last weekend of artistry, sportsmanship, and celebration. Let’s make this final set of marks the most memorable ones yet."
